Tourists stroll across Binzhou Railway Bridge, over the Songhua River. The imposing structure, which links the two banks of the downtown Harbin section of the river, was the first railway bridge in the Songhua River Basin and the first cross-river bridge in the city. Its total length stretches 1,015 meters. The bridge was constructed in 1900 and stopped service in 2014. It was re-opened to the public as a scenic spot in 2016, following a two-year renovation.
