Tourists enjoy winter fun on frozen Songhua River

Tourists ride bicycles on the frozen Songhua River in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on Jan 2. A carnival park made entirely out of ice and snow on the ice-bound waterway opened to the public starting on Dec 25. It occupies an area of 11 million square meters and features four different areas for ice and snow sightseeing, as well as entertainment activities such as skating, ice hockey, ice slides and snow mobiles.
