Overseas donated medical supplies reach Harbin

Medical supplies donated by sister cities, organizations and individuals from 10 countries -- to help the city of Harbin in northernmost Heilongjiang fight against the novel coronavirus outbreak -- recently arrived, according to information from the Harbin foreign affairs office on Feb 3.
The donations include 326,000 medical masks, 15,000 pairs of medical gloves and 5,000 pieces of medical protective clothing from Russia, Japan, the US, Canada, Serbia, Ukraine, Philippines, Austria, Singapore and Poland.
Among the donors were the Russian Amur State Government, the Blagoveshchensk City Government, the Niigata City Government of Serbia, Sumy City Government and Lozovaya City Government in Ukraine, the Philippines Filipino Federation, the Honfield International Music Association, Singapore Wanhe International Education Group, Japan Chamber of Commerce in Harbin, the Poland Chamber of Commerce in China and the Canada Chamber of Commerce in China.
The Harbin foreign affairs office also highlighted individuals such as Xue Suli, chairman of the Schoenfeld International Music Association, Wu Honggang, chairman of Nihao Group, as well as overseas Chinese in Ukraine.
