Winter swimming performance starts at Songhua River Bath

More than 300 winter swimming amateurs from across China performed at an ice water pool at the frozen Songhua River in Daoli district, Harbin, capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on Jan 1, offering visitors an overwhelming feast on the first day of 2015.
With an area of 4,600 square meters, the Songhua River Bath will present winter swimming performances and ice entertainment shows every day starting from Jan 1.
The show time is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and 10:30 am and 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm with performances within 20 minutes.
When the 31st Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival starts on Jan 5, Russian swimmers will join in winter swimming performances at the Songhua River Bath.
