FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships kicks off in Yabuli

The FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships will be held in Yabuli, the most popular ski resort in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, from March 9 to 15.

A total of 277 athletes from more than 30 countries, including Andorra, Brazil, Croatia, Spain, Chile, Slovenia, New Zealand, Poland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Czech, Germany, Australia, Russia, Lithuania, Hungary, Finland, Japan, France, Switzerland, Canada, Austria, South Korea, Slovakia, the US, Belarus, Estonia, Turkey and Argentina, will attend the top snowboard competition that held in China.
The more than 120 coaches and 20 officials from FIS, as well as hundreds of staff members, volunteers and reporters, brings the number of participants of the game to about 1,500 and makes the event the biggest of its kind in Harbin.
