Various folk activities were held across Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, to celebrate the Lantern Festival, which fell on February 5 this year. 
 
Guessing lantern riddles, admiring colorful lanterns, watching lion dances and eating yuanxiao were among the highlights for residents and tourists.
