Harbin medical specialists fly to Liberia

Two medical specialists of Harbin flew to Monrovia, capital of Liberia, to help against the Ebola virus under the appointment of the Heilongjiang Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission on Oct 16.
Dr. Ye Ming, intensive care expert from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, and Dr. Fan Rongjun, disease control professional from the Harbin Center for Disease Control and Prevention, together with Dr. Xia Shuzhen, expert on infectious medicine of Heilongjiang Infectious Disease Prevention and Treatment Hospital, brought sterilizing articles, medication and other basic necessities with them. They will stay in Liberia for one month.
For the following month, they will join the Heilongjiang medical teams and engage themselves in prevention, treatment and screening of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in the disease-plagued country.
