Yabuli—a must-visit ski resort

Around 25 kilometers southeast from Yabuli town in Harbin, Yabuli Ski Resort has the reputation for being the best ski resort in Northeast China, with professional-grade ski slopes and facilities.
The ski resort consists of five arenas and training venues for alpine, freestyle, cross-country and winter skiing and ski jumping. It also has two ski resorts for tourists.
Yabuli Ski Resort also has a 2,868.68 meters long ski run on Sanguokui Mountain, which is the longest of its type in the world and has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Record Book.
For those not ready to handle the exhilarating ski run there are training courses for beginners and those without skiing experience.
In addition to skiing, you can climb up to the highest mountain in Yabuli, the Guokui Mountain, by taking the cable car, to appreciate the snow scenery from the top. Or you can try sledding, riding the ski-doo, a snowball fight or making a snowman.
After playing in the snow for a day, you can head to the Yabuli Forest Hot Spring Hotel - which has the largest indoor hot spring hall in Northeast China – to relax at the spa.
Leaving for Yabuli ski resort, you can take the K7047 Train at Harbin East Railway Station or take a bus at Longyun Bus Station, Nangang Bus Station or Daowai Bus Station. A single journey takes about 3 hours.
