Long-distance bus services -- suspended due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in China’s northernmost Heilongjiang province -- recently restarted operations, according to local officials.

Heilongjiang’s capital city Harbin -- along with another 14 cities in the province including Daqing, Mudanjiang, Shuangyashan, Heihe and Qitaihe -- has resumed services.

Passengers that need to buy bus tickets online can do it through the “Longjiang bashi” WeChat official account or the China highway bus ticket website www.bus365.com.

In addition, a number of the cross-province bus services running from Harbin to Northeast China’s Jilin and Liaoning provinces have also restarted.

Officials said bus services from Harbin city to other provinces and autonomous regions will be resumed gradually.
