The maximum train speed along the high-speed Harbin-Dalian line will be up to 300 km per hour - the speed for which it was designed - from April 21, the Ministry of Transport said on Friday.
Train speeds along the world's first high-speed railway in areas with extremely low temperatures were slowed during winter because of safety concerns, the ministry said.
The ministry said two separate plans will be adopted for the line during summer and winter.
