Twenty cyclists are taking part in the Harbin-Mohe bicycle race, which began in the South Harbin New Industrial Town on June 22 and will finish in Mohe, China’s most northern city, over two weeks later.
The route covers about 1,300 kilometers and the cyclists will also take part in activities to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Before the start of the race, nearly 500 cyclists, with ages ranging from 15 to 86, took part in an event to promote fitness through cycling.
