Harbin offers activities, music and arts

The Harbin government is holding a series of “Charming Harbin summer” activities and performances, in conjunction with the Harbin cultural, press and publication bureau, from July 23 to August 23, in Harbin.
One exciting part of the month is “Musical chapter” which gives visitors “a date with beauty and fashion, together with music and arts” and comes in three parts. The first, music, consists of an audio-visual symphony concert of Chinese and foreign film scores, a performance on “theme square”, chorus concert, “city of music •people’s stage” community arts festival, “place where dreams begin” performances, and provincial ethnic minority culture show.
The second part, drama, includes a big epic drama The Bells of St. Sophia Church, an urban love drama Mahjong•BFF (best friend forever), a musical Mo Li Piao Xiang (Sweetest Jasmine), and the children’s drama The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.
Finally, the exhibition part will hold a “Harbin Fashion” lilac beauty competition.
There will be more than 200 interesting activities, in 8 districts of Harbin, during this year’s month-long series of performance,
