This year’s China•Heilongjiang International Culture & Art Industry Fair, which opens at the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center, on Aug 22, with the theme of “Art beautifies life, culture creates wealth” will be offering a wide array of exhibitions, promotions, and investment discussions, according to a press conference, on July 23.

This 7th  fair, which runs through the 26th, showcases of Heilongjiang province’s industrial advantages and unique cultural products, and will exhibit famous paintings, calligraphic works and handicrafts from China and abroad. It is also expected to help develop the culture industries of Heilongjiang. It will draw in Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, and many other countries and regions, giving the Fair a more international flavor.

The total exhibition area is 48,000 square meters, containing more than 1700 international standard exhibition booths. There will be more than 1000 participants, bringing more than 35,000 displays. There will be many activities held at the fair, including a Heilongjiang tourist product-souvenir design competition, a Heilongjiang teacher - student creative products design competition, family treasure evaluation, and talented personnel hiring.

Sponsors of the fair are the Heilongjiang Party committee publicity ministry, China Arts and Crafts Association, Heilongjiang culture department, Heilongjiang Publishing Group, the Harbin municipal Party publicity ministry, and Harbin industry and commerce administration.
