Harbin attracts high-level personnel

A Harbin key industry talent personnel recruitment activity was jointly held by Harbin Municipal Engineering Group, Harbin Transport Group and Harbin Cultural Tourism Group at the city’s high- and medium-ranking talent market on August 17. A total of 85 high-level personnel signed employment agreements of intent during the event.

The recruitment offered 111 jobs, including 26 senior manager positions, 44 senior technical personnel positions, and 41 jobs in areas that lack skilled personnel. One participant also attended seeking to hire a high-level planning team with strong tourism promotion experience. It covered various fields like management, capital operation, investment and finance, intelligent transportation, product research, and development and pharmaceuticals. A total of 95 senior posts like deputy general manager, chief engineer, chief accountant and chief designer were open to candidates.

Of the 85 who signed, 31 have master’s degrees, 53 have bachelor’s degrees and one graduated from a professional training college. Among them, 21 hold senior professional posts and 15 hold medium-grade professional posts. The majority of the personnel came from universities in Northeast China or are currently senior personnel.

To ensure that Harbin is attracting enough talent, the Harbin government and Harbin Party committee invested 30 million yuan ($4.9 million) last year and 100 million yuan this year in preferential programs for high-level personnel. The programs cover issues such as hukou settlement, spouse employment, children’s education, temporary housing, salary, welfare, medical care and insurance. The annual salaries of the posts are between 100,000 to 300,000 yuan. Two Fortune Global 500 firms, the Hong Kong GCA Professional Services Group and the French Bouygues Group participated in the recruitment.
 

Harbin ramps up childcare services

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
