Calligraphic works and paintings by famous Chinese artists will be sold at low prices at the Harbin Friendship Palace Hotel on August 31.

The works are currently on display at the hotel. Many noted artists have offered great support to the event. They sent their best pieces to the show, many of which are regarded as excellent in the international market. Citizens can have a look at the precious works in advance for free and bid for the favorites on Saturday.

The floor price for the art pieces is 10 yuan ($1.60).
