Harbin hosts mooncake activity

A mooncake-making event, held by Harbin Weekly and Laodingfeng Co, a famous local food maker, will kick off on the morning of Sept 7.
Through telephone registration, lucky readers will have a chance to visit the food factory. They will learn the mooncake production process, including how to make flavors like lotus-nut, ham and abalone, and related safety standards.
Registration is open from 8:30am to 4:00pm (Monday-Sunday). The deadline to sign up is 4pm on Sept 3 (telephone: 82317316/17). Organizers will inform the first 100 people via phone.
