Harbin invests to establish logistics industry area

The city of Harbin in Northeast China has invested 500 million yuan ($82.6 million) to support logistics management. An investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.65 billion) will also be used to further improve infrastructure, including water and electricity supply, in Harbin.
Since logistics management was listed as a part of Harbin’s development plan, Daowai district in Harbin has encountered great opportunities. The government also released preferential policies to solve long-term problems, including deficient development space and poor infrastructure, to help Harbin become more competitive in the future.
The Daowai district industry area will be established in April 2014. The area will be further expanded. More projects will be introduced with a total area of 1 million square meters.

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
