A 23-meter–long, 8-meter-high snow sculpture was built in front of Galaxy Wandering, the main snow sculpture of the International Snow Sculpture Art Expo.
Mao's poem, "Ode to the Plum Blossom", and a flower plum blossom were painted on the snow. A recently developed kind of paint made it possible to paint on snow.
