The high-speed trains G1276/7 and G1278/5 will connect Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, and Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, within 15 hours, according to the new train diagram released on Dec 10 by the Harbin Railway Administration.
High-speed train G1276/7 is scheduled to depart Harbin West Railway Station at 7:41 am and reach Wuhan Railway Station at 10:19 pm every day, while G1278/5 will depart Wuhan at 8:36 am and arrive in Harbin at 10:45 pm.
The new working diagram also made some adjustments to the speed of trains. The high-speed trains to Dalian will slow down from 300 kilometers per hour to 200 kilometers per hour, with ticket prices cut accordingly.
Among the trains running across Harbin, seven trains have sped up and changed their name codes. When train K1124/1 running to Haikou was upgraded to Z114/1, the travel time was cut to 48 hours from 64 hours.
