Songhua River Bridge opens to traffic on Dec 10

Trains will be able to run safely across the Songhua River Bridge between Harbin Railway Station and Harbin North Railyway Station in capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, starting December 10, according to the new train diagram released by the Harbin Railway Administration.
With a length of 3,460 meters, the Songhua River Bridge started construction in September 2010.
When the whole project finishes, two high-speed trains to Qiqihar will be able to pass over the Songhua River Bridge next spring.
