The closing ceremony of the Fourth Session of the 14th Harbin Municipal People’s Congress concluded at the city’s International Convention Center on Jan 24, 2015.

A total of 531 deputies of the Harbin Municipal People's Congress attended the meeting, which was chaired by Wang Ying, an executive chairwoman of the standing committee of people's congress of Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province.

Nearly 600 proposals regarding the city’s development were submitted to the congress, 491 of which have been placed on file.

Huang Yusheng was voted as the vice director of the 14th Harbin Municipal People's Congress standing committee by the deputies.

The meeting also passed the city’s government work report and awarded the good proposals.

Chen Haibo, Party chief of Harbin, the city’s mayor Song Xibin and Jiang Ming, chairman of the Harbin Municipal Committee of the CPPCC attended the closing ceremony.
