Harbin’s Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo in Heilongjiang province was recently listed among the top 50 historic moments around the world in 2014 by an American online news aggregator — The Huffington Post, according to the expo‘s organizing committee.

The main snow sculpture of the expo, Zhanfang, or Bloom, was the only ice and snow attraction among all the entries on the list.

It is located on the main venue of the expo park and has three attractions, which display the beauty of snow, European style landscape and the scenery of the province, on an area of 12,000 square meters.
