The railway department arranged special trains with larger cabins for the delivery, each of which can handle nine SUVs.
The vehicles include Jeeps, commercial vehicles and sedans with a wide range of brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Land Rover and Toyota.
The delivery fee for cars with no more than seven seats is 2,754 yuan ($444) while that with more than seven seats is 3,212 yuan. This is a more convenient and cheaper way, rather than driving yourself.
According to staff at the railway station, people can call the hotline for more information at 12306.
