The Amur Sirius Power Equipment Co of the city of Harbin announced a plan recently to increase cooperation with Russia by opening an incubation center in Beijing, with the help of the China Overseas Development Association.

As the number of Chinese projects involving its huge neighbor grows, more Chinese enterprises have been showing an eagerness to enter the Russian market, but they are completely unfamiliar with its investment policies.

Hence the center which is expected to provide a development site for Sino-Russian projects and related services such as legal affairs, translation, and taxes, especially in energy, power, medicines, and agriculture. It has already handled some in photovoltaics, petroleum and natural gas.

At the same time, Amur Sirius Power Equipment has become China’s first Russian player in the power market, working with coal-fired power stations, electric power design institutes, and boiler builders on power station planning, equipment, and construction. It provided China’s first power station equipment exports to Russia.
