The city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province will be holding its 2015 China International Beer Festival starting June 25 and lasting until July 6, in the city’s Ice and Snow World, which has attracted a larger number of brewers and exhibitors than in the past, according to the organizers.

That includes brewers from several countries, such as the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, and South Korea, and more than 20 international brands, including Berliner, Flensburger, Radeberger and Schofferhofer, for the 12-day festival.

To get their fill, people can choose from more than 200 kinds of beer and some snacks, such as roast goose, lobster, and fried chicken in a total of 16 booths around the Ice and Snow World site.

The festival itself will cover a 600,000-square–meter space, or 50,000 sq m larger than for last year’s, the organizers say, and have a total of 14 canopies and nine beer gardens for Chinese and foreign brands. Currently, 11 canopies and five beer gardens have been ordered, with the largest canopy covering 4,000 sq m.

The organizers add that there will be a room where visitors can relax to sober up and a designated driver service for people who don’t want to drive themselves home. The facilities and services for ticketing, public signs, lighting, and restrooms are also being improved.

This year‘s sponsors are still the China National Light Industry Council and Harbin municipal government.
