The Dongji Airport in Fuyuan county, Jiamusi city, a feeder airport in Heilongjiang opened a new air route to Shanghai on July 15, Heilongjiang Daily reports, noting that there is a stop in Harbin, capital of the province.

The flight operated by Air China, using an A320, is scheduled to depart Shanghai at 06:55 and arrive in Fuyuan at 12:05, with a short stay in Harbin from 09:55 to 10:40 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and then depart Fuyuan at 12:50 the same day, returning to Shanghai at 18:10 with a brief stopover in Harbin from 14:20 to 15:10.

The new route will substantially benefit the passengers, and help boost the economy in China's easternmost county of Fuyuan and the border island of Heixiazi (Bolshoy Ussuriysky), as well as promote the branding of local tourism.
