Harbin No 1 Hospital, one of the top-level hospitals in Heilongjiang province, recently joined hand with a Guangzhou-based technology company to offer patients easier and intelligent experience for medical treatment.

The patients can register at the hospital and make appointment with doctors with the digital services on a smartphone. They can also pay for the charge with Alipay, the country's most popular third-party payment tool, and check the reports of medical test online.

The move helps improve the efficiency of the hospital, which greatly cut patients’ waiting time in registration, payment and treatment.

The hospital will plan to expand its mobile Internet services to more fields, such as prescription, referral of patients, medicine distribution, and medical insurance reimbursement online.
