Harbin sees better air quality in H1

The city of Harbin, in Heilongjiang province saw fine air quality in 105 days of the first half of this year, local environmental protection officials report, noting that the data show an average amount of PM2.5, PM10, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide less than for the same last year period.
Its semiannual concentration of PM2.5 for the period was 69 micrograms per cubic meter, a drop of 1 microgram per cu m; for PM10 it was 109, down 3, nitrogen dioxide, 54, down 1, and for sulfur dioxide, 54, down 8, according to the environmental protection bureau.
The bureau said that the city’s Hulan and Acheng districts rank highest in air quality, while Daowai and Nangang were a bit behind.
