A health care alliance has announced that they will invest in an Olympic winter sports center at Harbin Sport University in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province, at a ceremony at the school, on Sept 15.

The center has a planned floor space of 100,000 square meters, with 36,800 square-meter on the ground floor to be used for daily training of athletes and a tentative height of 99 meters, with 23 floors. It will cover examinations, health food, rehabilitation, and fitness and have apartments for athletes, and be open to college students and the general public. It will also bring in a database on Chinese and foreign athletes’ health information.

The building will also house special organizations, such as a health information-based big data center for athletes and college students and a winter sports rehabilitation center for Northeast Asia.
