A delegation of 16 central and regional Internet media representatives visited Shuangcheng of Harbin, in Heilongjiang province, to get a look at its vegetable gardens, on Oct 15, to tell people in other parts of the country about the circular economy there, my399.com reports on Oct 15.

Taking advantage of its organic fertilizer resource, Shuangcheng started developing a circular agricultural economy back in 2010, with the local government getting the local people to join its development ideas for planting, breeding and processing. The district has 10 organic demonstration bases now, with the miscellaneous grain crop and miscellaneous beans sites regarded as provincial demonstration bases.
