The city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province will be holding the China Seed Expo, the country’s largest event of its kind at its International Convention Center, Nov 6-8, the authorities report, saying that they are expecting businesspeople from across China and more than 20 other countries, such as the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Israel and South Korea to bring their fruit, flower, and vegetable seeds for display.

The organizers say that there will be pesticides, fertilizers, agricultural machinery, and greenhouse equipment available as well as the many varieties of seeds including rare and novel ones as a highlight. There will also be a great number of business opportunities for more than 1,000 participating enterprises and an efficient one-stop procurement service for domestic and foreign traders.

The municipal government is the sponsor of the expo, which has seen vigorous development in its 20 years, with a larger exhibition area and more exhibitors from around the globe.
