Service sector bringing new job possibilities in NE China

The human resources and social security bureau of the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province has reported 99,284 new employees in the service sector for the first three quarters of 2015, accounting for 80 percent of the city’s total of new hires.
The report shows at least 8,900 people in agriculture, or 7 percent; about 14,450 hired by industrial enterprises, 12 percent, and nearly 100,000 taken by the service sector.
In the Jan–Sept period, the city showed 122,675 new placements, or about 95 percent of its annual target. The city has come up with measures to increase employment, such as job fairs, training programs for the unemployed and rural people, and asking local agencies to improve their services.
