【What is the Oktoberfest】
Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival. Held annually in Munich, Germany, it is a 16-day folk festival running from late September to the first weekend in October, with more than 7 million people from around the world attending the event every year. Locally, it is often called Wiesn, but now the Oktoberfest name is an important part of Bavarian culture, and is renowned worldwide.

【What to drink on Oktoberfest】
Paulaner beer has always followed the rule of typical Bavarian beer brewing strictly and by only using malt, hops, yeast and water in the process, ensures the purest quality of beer. Straight from the beer pump, through a pipe, then tapped, the beer is delivered directly to the glass, allowing the beer to ruminate a malt fragrance, sweet and delicious at arrival. German brewmasters also create a unique and special beer for the Oktoberfest festival, choosing the best ingredients from Bavarian local high-quality raw stock, and roasting the malt for a longer period. The original wort concentration is higher than other ales, staying thicker, with a mellower taste, ensuring the drinker a famous and distinguished taste from Munich’s history, straight to Paulaner, Harbin.

【What to eat on Oktoberfest】
It is said that during carnivals, beer and barbecue sausage are the best match! When German cuisine is discussed, most people's first instinct is to name the sausage, German people's enthusiasm for sausage is not just limited to discussion. Paulaner Harbin offers a variety of authentic flavours of handmade sausage, which are derived from German chef's exclusive recipes, guaranteeing the taste of a crisp outside, and a soft inside, rich in flavour, and succulent to the bite.

【What to do during Oktoberfest】
Good beer, of course, must be paired with good music! Music, brings the Oktoberfest atmosphere and creates merriment! In the first Oktoberfest, Paulaner at Kempinski Hotel Harbin has invited the famous Austrian band to join in their carnival, bringing the most traditional “carnival spirit” to Oktoberfest. The band have given many exuberant performances, and really lets the guest experience the bold enthusiasm of beer culture as it is celebrated in Germany.

All elements for the carnival are ready, now we are just waiting for you to take part!
