The entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau of the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province has reported exports of more than 65 tons of green food for the Jan-Oct period, worth $2.6 million, and a six-fold increase year-on-year.

Metropolitan authorities say they have come up with ways to increase green food exports, such as training programs, registration of producers, and standardizing operations, and helping them qualify as soon as possible.

In addition, they provide guidance on contracts, label design, and product description to ensure strict compliance with the laws of Hong Kong.
