People in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, can shorten their waiting time for exit-entry document applications via WeChat.
The applicants can check out the real time video footages of 11 exit-entry reception offices in the city through their mobile terminals.
This new online service, provided by the bureau of exit-entry administration of Harbin, helps the public to find the offices with fewer applicants and more convenient traffic flow.
Applicants need to follow the official WeChat account of the bureau to get the real time images by searching its Chinese name and scanning the QR Code.
The bureau has also added mapping and traffic guideline functions in its WeChat platform and set up big screens to show real time images of all the 11 offices’ reception halls.
Other exit-entry offices are preparing to enter the bureau’s real time video program, Harbin Daily reported.
