Solar halo appears in NE China

In the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province, people got a look at a special solar halo, at around 8:00 am, on March 21, with a rainbow around the sun clearly visible and lasting for more than 20 minutes.
This particular spectacle is caused by the refraction or reflection of sunlight on ice crystals in cirrostratus clouds. The sunlight is dispersed in colorful light stretching in different directions. It is also considered a sign of a change in the weather.
