Authorities with the Railway Bureau in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province have announced that some of the bureau’s property is now available for leasing for the first time ever.
They were referring to about 200 locomotives, 350,000-square-meters of office space at 3,000 sites, and 72 million sq m of unused lands along railway lines.
One of the most popular choices for rent is probably a building at 401 Gogol St in the city’s Nangang district in a busy commercial area with a more-than-100-year history.
Some older model locomotives and vehicles are also ready for lease or sale.
