Harbin adding free Wi-Fi to trains

The Railway Bureau in the city of Harbin, in Heilongjiang province has announced that it will have free Wi-Fi on 45 stations and more than 250 trains, by this June, including the lines to the provincial cities of Jixi, Suifenhe, and Qiqihar, but not covering bullet trains, according to a local news portal.
The city already has eight stations covered, including Harbin West and Harbin North, with the installation work starting back at the end of 2015, allowing passengers access to the Internet and instant messaging APPs such as QQ and Wechat.
The bureau says it is speeding up work on the service to give passengers access to free Wi-Fi as soon as possible.
