A new bus app named ‘Aibus’ has appeared in Harbin. It can display accurate bus arrival times and pay ticket fees.
The device sends the vehicle’s position to the ‘Aibus’ server, which then processes the data and returns it to the user’s mobile phone. Currently, more than 500 buses on 20 bus routes, including one to the airport, can be traced by this app with the data processed within 19 seconds.
In addition to checking bus arrival times, the app also provides a popular ‘customized commuter’ service. More than 600 people have customized their commuter needs from the Oriental institute to Harbin West Railway Station.
