June 5th was World Environment Day. Harbin cultural garden co-hosted a public activity named “bring green to trees” organized by the Harbin Institute of Technology. When you stepped on a canvas image of a dead tree with green paint on your shoes, it added dense “green leaves” or new life to the tree. The organizers hope that the activity will inspire more people to care about and protect the environment.
