Harbin ranks 53rd in the report of China business competitiveness

The National Academy of Economic Strategy, the China Social Science Press, and the Chinese Academy of Social Science Urban and Competitiveness Research Center recently released “Chinese Urban Competitive Report 2016”, in which Harbin ranks 53rd of 294 cities in China.
The four northeastern Chinese cities of Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun, and Harbin, ranked 19th, 23rd, 40th, and 53rd respectively in terms of comprehensive economic competitiveness. In addition, Harbin ranked 25th in business competitiveness in China.
The CASS report, "Chinese Urban Competitiveness Blue Book: China Urban Competitiveness Report", released every year, is the most authoritative national report on urban competitiveness. The 2016 edition shows that business and culture competitiveness, as well as business knowledge, are quite satisfactory so that the investment environment and technology and education resources are becoming more balanced and optimized.
