The Chunyu Voluntary Association provided free lunch for sanitation workers in the Chunyu Barbecue restaurant on July 8. About 70 sanitation workers have recently enjoyed a free lunch courtesy of the association. The standard box lunch with meat and vegetables is 12 RMB.

With the weather growing hotter, finding a comfortable place to have lunch and take a rest is hard for sanitation workers. Zhang Xiaoyu, the boss of Chunyu Barbecue restaurant, says volunteers are eager to help and Chunyu is a voluntary restaurant, so they need to do something for sanitation workers.

One of the workers having lunch is a 67-year old woman whose husband is paralyzed. Her son and daughter-in-law also are sanitation workers, but they are a little mentally-handicapped. It was so hard for them to find a place to have lunch and take a rest before, but now Chunyu is providing for them.

Chunyu is committed to voluntary works and public good.
