Harbin has established a professional cleaning group in Xiangfang district, aiming to tackle environmental problems.
The district government has made considerable efforts, such as improving staff training for cleaners and investing more in infrastructure, to improve the environment in villages.
The government has set up new management systems to promote the integration of urban and rural areas.
Meanwhile, comprehensive law enforcement is ensuring directives are followed in every town and village.
The Xiangfang district has now built refuse transfer stations and compression facilities for waste. At the same time, new public spaces and more public toilets have been built to improve hygiene in public areas.
This year, the district government has allocated funds to buy forklift trucks and other vehicles to cleanup waste. It is hoped that this work will improve the overall environment.
To promote the construction of beautiful villages, the district government has also carried out work to improve the aesthetics of areas, by doing things such as planting flowers.
Furthermore, standards, plans, and regulations, have been enacted to ensure the protection of the local environment.
