Harbin to hold green food industry expo

The Fourth Heilongjiang International Organic and Green Food Industry Expo will be held in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, from Sept 22 to 26.
The expo, to be held at the Harbin International Exhibition Sports Center, will have a modern agricultural display area as well as a display area exhibiting different kinds of rice. More than 10 kinds of activities will also be held.
The expo will cover 680,000 square meters, with more than 36,000 square meters of exhibiting space. The outdoor display area, which measures around 250,000 square meters, will have a display relating to ecological tourism, plus an exhibition on agricultural machinery and equipment.
More than 100 businesses have already applied to take part in the exhibition, including some from Beijing, Anhui, and Taiwan, as well as foreign enterprises from Malaysia and Thailand.
People who are interested in the expo can book tickets on the official Sina Weibo account of the exhibitions bureau. Meanwhile, tickets can also be bought from the exhibition itself once it opens.
