The 2016 F1 World Championship China grand prix will be held from Sept 3 to 4 in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, and from Oct 2 to 3 in Liuzhou, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, according to a press conference on Aug 24.
More than 20 world-class F1 motorboat drivers will compete in the China grand prix, according to details released during the press conference held at Feitian Mansion in Beijing.
As one of the race areas, the Harbin Hulan River wetland park was chosen for its suitability for motorboat racing. Experts have said that new world records are likely to be set there.
In the 2014 and 2015 competitions, the China motorboat team won the champions on both occasions.
