Organic food expo to open in Harbin

The fourth Heilongjiang International Green Organic Food Industry Exposition will be held at the Harbin International Exhibition Center on Sept 22-26.
A total of 930 enterprises from nine countries and regions, as well as 27 Chinese provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions will attend the exhibition.
This includes dozens of famous Chinese and foreign brands, including China Oil & Foodstuffs Corporation, Yili Dairy Co and China’s e-commerce giant JD.com.
The exposition will cover an area of 68,000 square meters, with an indoor display area of 36,000 square meters. The 25,000-square-meter outdoor area will display eco-tourism scenic spots and agricultural mechanical equipment.
Themed exhibition areas, including modern agriculture and rice cultivation, will also be set up in the exhibition. More than 40 rice companies will come to show off their products.
A series of other activities will also be held alongside the expo, including a forum on the development of the organic food industry, an agricultural research exposition and a grain trade fair.
