Harbin boosts organizations for women

An organization known as the Harbin Women’s Social Organization Development Service Center (HWSODSC), has been established in the city’s training school for women, according to the Harbin Women’s Federation.
The center aims to actively nurture and develop Harbin’s social organizations for women and effectively integrate social resources.
The Harbin Women’s Federation has also announced plans to establish a supervisory team for the HWSODSC, which includes experts and scholars from government, colleges and social organizations.
The supervisory team will be in charge of training administrative staff and evaluating public service programs.
Additionally, the Harbin Women’s Federation has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Harbin University to build training bases, and train talented individuals.
Meanwhile, the two organizations will work together to integrate resources and try to find mutually beneficial ways of developing.

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
