A group wedding ceremony will be held on Jan 6 as part of the 33rd Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival.

Those who want to hold their wedding at the ceremony can apply before Dec 30, 2016. Also welcome are those who want to commemorate their wedding there.

The wedding ceremony will be sponsored by eight institutions including Harbin Tourism Development Committee and Harbin Civil Affairs Bureau.

So far, Harbin has held 32 group wedding ceremonies, witnessing the marriages of 1,071 couples from all over the world.

Couples taking part in the ceremony will be provided with a wedding dress, decorative diamond ring and some other wedding souvenirs.
