More than ten Taiwan tourists learned from a Russian painter how to paint Russian matryoshka dolls at the Volga Manor in Harbin, Heilongjiang province on Nov 17. A matryoshka doll, also known as a Russian nesting doll, is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside the other. The name "matryoshka” literally “little matron”, is a diminutive form of the Russian female name “Matryona” or "Matriosha”. [Photo/my399.com]
