Song Xibin, the vice mayor of Harbin, met with Sun Hongshui, the general manager of the China Power Construction Corporation (CPCC), on Dec 5.

Song said that all the indexes of Harbin’s social and economic development are in a reasonable range.

Harbin is now making great efforts to build an infrastructure, such as subways and underground pipelines. Harbin will continue to make further plans and designs to improve the function of the city’s infrastructure, and there is a huge investment potential here, he said.

CPCC has a wealth of experience in infrastructure investment and financing, as well as operation management, and CPCC is now taking part in the Harbin Line Two Project building, Song said. Both sides have an established good relationship with each other, he added.

Song expressed his hope that CPCC will invest more toward infrastructure building in Harbin. The Harbin government will actively support CPCC to develop businesses in the city, he said.

Sun Hongshui said, “Harbin is a key area for the investment of CPCC, and CPCC is willing to make greater contributions in Harbin for its infrastructure construction.”
